She holds a master’s degree in occupational therapy and has worked for HealthONE and Advanced Healthcare of Aurora. She is currently employed by June Ruby at the Stanley Marketplace and resides in Central Park. With four children, her family looks forward to being a part of the McAuliffe community for 10 years.

ALEX DUNLOP

Alex has been working in community and business development work for 25 years in developing countries and rural areas in the United States, always with a focus on listening to community needs and working to identify resources and funding to succeed in their goals. That work has taken him into agriculture, technology and education projects around the world and to rural areas in the Mountain West. He is the proud dad of two, including a McAuliffe 7th grader. In his spare time he’s always packing his family into the car for weekend trips hiking, skiing, or camping. He lives in Wash Park West.

Alex is excited to contribute to the McAuliffe community by identifying projects and resources to support students and staff in ways that align with the school leadership and its vision.

MARY EVANS

Mary Evans has lived in many places in the US including Boston, MA and Milwaukee, WI. During her full life she has achieved her certified public accounting designation along with an MBA. She enjoys teaching when possible, painting and knitting.

What she brings to the board is many years of accounting experience for three other boards in the state of Wisconsin, and the want to be part of the community as we are all in this together, why make it harder!

BRANDY LAPPI

She has worked for Kaiser Permanente for the past 16 years and currently serves as the Director of Workforce Health and Employer Services. Michelle

Michelle Scott

In another life, Michelle was a graphic and web designer for various industries from aerospace to real estate. When her children were born, she became focused on ensuring they had the best education DPS could offer. As a result, Michelle has been on the PTA at each of the five schools her children attended. Michelle spent four years as the president of Park Hill School’s PTSA. She is passionate and vocal about school equality because she believes all children deserve a quality education regardless of their neighborhood.

Currently, Michelle is serving on the McAuliffe at Smiley Foundation and as president of the Robotics 501 (c) (3) at East High School. During the pandemic, she began fiercely advocating for the immunocompromised.

Besides her family, Michelle’s favorite things are her garden, a crowded table, trying not to kill herself on her electric bike, and being covered in paint as she pretends 3D art is as easy as graphic design. She’s also a diehard Swiftie.
